Makeup-free and looking stylish in a dark brown leather jacket, Griffith strutted along, but most people only fixated on her bruises. One Facebook user implied that the bruises were the result of a facelift, while others also claimed they were most likely consequences of various cosmetic surgeries.

On Thursday, Griffith looked anything but a dork as she strolled in a stylish jacket, grey slacks, and Gucci shoes.

While the source of the bruises remains unknown, Griffith has been outspoken about her battle against skin cancer, which includes dermabrasion. The practice removes the top layer of skin cells, which can often help get rid of cancer cells. Griffith had been seen with similar scarring a year earlier.

The skin cancer diagnosis was a heavy blow since she makes most of her money from her appearance. However, over the years, she has found positive ways of dealing with the disease, commenting that she had learned to face the disease head-on. She also encouraged others to get themselves checked.

As someone who understands the complications skin cancer can bring about, Griffith has been spreading awareness about the disease since 2009. The actress commented on her diagnosis, saying it was a big shock when she first heard the news. She also noted that it could interfere with her livelihood:

Griffith also opened up about being an aging actress in Hollywood and confessed that growing older has had some consequences for her career. She noted that she’s looking forward to shifting from a screen actress to a stage actress, since performing in theatre isn’t as up-close as being in front of the camera.

Griffith has had her share of high-profile romances over the years, having been married to three tremendously famous men.

Besides getting treatment from Melanie Grant, Griffith has invested in the work the German scientist Dr. Augustinus Bader has been doing over the years. With the help of stem-cell technology and the oxidizing force of anti-inflammatory peptides, Griffith hopes to counteract the negative effects of aging and keep working. She noted:

“It’s a different deal when you’re older. And we’re old. I don’t mean it badly, and I don’t mean it like, ‘Oh, poor me,’ or anything like that. It’s just a different deal when you’re an older person. It’s different from being the hot stuff to being the old hot stuff.”

Over the years, Griffith’s career isn’t the only thing that went through changes. The actress has been married numerous times, tying the knot with the likes of Don Johnson and Antonio Banderas. Banderas Was Always by Her Side Still Calling Her His Family and Best Friend
Griffith has had her share of high-profile romances over the years, having been married to three tremendously famous men. The actress confessed that she had a few regrets about how her marriages ended, but she’s glad she had the experiences she built up throughout her life.

Banderas also spoke about their relationship, saying they’re still close despite not being married anymore.

She first married the “Miami Vice” star Don Johnsson in 1976 when she was 18. Their marriage didn’t last long, and Griffith met the father of her first child, Steven Bauer, shortly after they divorced. In 1988, the actress went to rehab after giving birth to her oldest child, Alexander Bauer, and by the time she got out, Johnson was waiting for her.

The pair had rekindled their old romance, and Johnson was waiting to pick her up and help her on her road to recovery. They tied the knot once more in 1989, and it seemed promising at first. They had a daughter together, Dakota Johnson, but soon, things started falling apart once more, and they went their separate ways.

Griffith met Banderas after splitting from Johnson, and they married in 1996. The two were married for 18 years before finally calling it quits in 2015. But neither harbors any resentment, and Griffith blames herself for the marriage not working out. While Banderas moved on with his life, Griffith never remarried.

Banderas also spoke about their relationship, saying that he’s still close with Griffith despite not being married anymore. The actor confessed, “I am not married with Melanie anymore but she is my family. She is probably one of my best friends, if not the best friend that I have.”
